Beth Zentmeyer Harvey was appointed by the Committee in 2024. She worked in The White House for President George W. Bush coordinating legislative policy and strategy and brings communications and marketing experience with leadership roles ranging from Chief of Protocol of the U.S. Embassy Baghdad, Iraq and Adviser to Speaker John A. Boehner. In the Office of the Speaker, she supported public liaison operations and events including Joint Meetings of Congress for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Pope Francis.
Following three deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Beth was Chief of Staff of the Iraq desk at the U.S. Department of State. From 2016-2022 she coordinated national philanthropic activities for Spouses of Members of Congress, the President’s Cabinet and U.S. Supreme Court as Executive Director of The Congressional Club Museum & Foundation.
A Boonsboro High School graduate, Beth has supported republican candidates and worked campaigns on the local, state and national level since 1996 in battleground races and early in her career worked for the Republican National Committee as a Regional Field Director for Western Maryland.
Beth is a TEDx Licensee and organizer of TEDx Hagerstown Women the first independently organized TED event in Washington County. She is a member of The Women’s Club of Hagerstown, President of the Washington County Commission for Women, mother of three and happily married to County Commissioner Derek Harvey.
Nancy Allen was elected to the Committee in 2022 and currently serves as the First Vice Chair. Her degree in education from the University of Maryland, College Park was good training for life because one never stops learning or "educating" others, especially about buying or selling a home. As an Educator, Nancy was always interested in what was happening in the schools in Washington County.
Nancy served on multiple Citizen Advisory Committees supporting Washington County Superintendents Dr. Wayne Gersen and Dr. Herman Bartlett. The First Generation Study Group resulted in a program for a Gifted and Talented Magnet schools in Washington County. The Second Generation Study Group worked on development of a Fine Arts Program which became the Barbara Ingram School of Fine Arts in Hagerstown, MD.
Nancy is a licensed realtor with over 30 years of Real Estate Sales and Services business experience in Hagerstown, MD and surrounding areas of Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Adam Greivell was selected by the Washington County Republican Central Committee in December 2022, to fill the vacancy that followed the retirement of the former Chair, Jerry DeWolf. Adam was elected to be the Chair of the Committee and served a full term from November 2023 to November 2024.
Adam is a lifelong resident of Washington County, growing up in Cearfoss and attending elementary and middle school at Maugansville and then St. Mary's Catholic School, before attending and graduating from St. Maria Goretti High School. Adam obtained an Associate's Degree in Administration of Justice from Hagerstown Community College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore before graduating law school from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana.
Adam returned to Maryland directly after law school and was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2005, and the Federal Bar in 2009. Adam established his own law practice in Hagerstown, Maryland, in 2010 and has been a go-to litigation attorney serving the needs of citizens, businesses and non-profits in Western Maryland ever since. Adam's firm, Greivell & Garrott Johnson, LLC, has three full-time attorneys in addition to a retired judge, serving of counsel.
Adam was nominated by a 13 member commission to Governor Larry Hogan in 2019 for consideration for a Circuit Court judicial appointment. Thereafter, Adam ran for Circuit Court judge in 2022, narrowly missing the Republican primary nomination by 326 votes. Adam's achievement of 48.6% of Republican voters was the strongest showing against an incumbent judge in over 100 years in Washington County.
Adam has litigated many high profile cases in Washington County and is widely known as a tireless advocate for his clients' rights, regularly confronting and holding the government accountable. Recently, Adam led a group of citizen voters in a challenge regarding the selection of Washington County early voting centers up to the Supreme Court of Maryland in advance of the 2024 primary election.
As a member and Chair of the Republican Central Committee, Adam continues to advance and protect the interests of conservative Washington County.
Michael Barnes is a lifelong resident of Washington County. He Attended the University of MD College Park and California College of Health Studies, and is a Certified Respiratory therapist with an Associate Degree.
Michael has previously worked at the Washington County Hospital as a Respiratory therapist, Shady Grove Adventist hospital where he worked at their neonatal intensive care unit Pediatric intensive care unit.
In 1999 Michael started as an Insurance Broker in the Senior Market (Medicare Market) as an independent contractor. Licensed in MD, Pa, WV, VA& NJ and also past member of Certified Senior Advisors.
Michael’s previous Volunteer activities include: EMT/ fire fighter, President of the Washington County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, Board member of the Hagerstown Elks Lodge number 378, Board member Washington County food Bank, member and chairman of the Hagerstown Washington County Chamber of Commerce they serve on the ambassador and membership committee, President of Tall Cedars of Lebanon. He is a 17 year member of the Washington county community Free Clinic currently serving as president of the Board of Directors. Currently Michael is a Master Mason with Medairy Lodge number 140 AF&AM. Michael is also a member of Ali Ghan Shrine and member of Sayara Unit (little red cars).
But most know Michael as a Former Candidate for Mayor of Hagerstown MD and former Vice President of the Washington County Republican Club.
Alan Matheny is a lifelong resident of Washington County and a lifelong Registered Republican.
After graduating from Williamsport High School, Alan began a career in electrical construction. He obtained his State of Maryland, Master Electrical license and later started his own electrical contracting business. While volunteering as a fire fighter at Maugansville Fire Company, he became a paramedic. A calling to community service Alan sold his electrical business and became the first Emergency Medical Services Coordinator at the Volunteer Fire Company of Halfway. The calling continued and Alan took a job with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office as a Paramedic/Deputy Sheriff, where he continues to be employed as a Sergeant. Alan with his son Colten runs a part time safety and vehicle up-fitting business.
Alan was elected to the Washington County Central Committee in 2022 and looks forward to building and strengthening the Republican Party in Washington County.
Alan is a member of the Downsville Church of the Brethren, The Volunteer Fire Company of Halfway, A Lifetime National Rifle Association Member, Member of the Washington County Republican Club; he is also a Master Mason with Lodge 217 AF&AM.
Alan is married to Melissa and has one son Colten. Alan’s free time is spent making unique furniture using his passion for wood and metal working.
Ryan Beachley, is an entrepreneur and investor. He was elected to the committee in 2022.
Wayne Keefer is a life-long resident of Washington County, Maryland, and a registered Republican from the very beginning. Starting at the age of 18, Wayne started helping as an Election Judge with the local Board of Elections, then became the Republican Chief Judge for his hometown precinct. Wayne was later appointed to a seat on the Washington County Board of Elections. He has also served as campaign treasurer for state and federal office seekers.
In addition to serving on the Washington County Republican Central Committee, Wayne is a member of the Washington County Board of County Commissioners, a position he was first appointed to in 2016 and subsequently elected to in 2018 and 2022. Commissioner Keefer consistently advocates for Republican ideals and values as a County Commissioner. He particularly takes a strong interest in the county budget and is a true fiscal conservative with taxpayer dollars.
Wayne has had opportunities for college, business, and leisure to travel and see all corners of the globe and visit multiple continents. As a college student, he studied abroad in China for a summer semester, an experience which only strengthened his Republican political viewpoints.
A graduate of Hancock Middle-Senior High School, Wayne continued his education locally at Hagerstown Community College, then earned his B.S. and M.B.A. from Frostburg State University. Wayne has over a decade of experience as a community banker with roles in consumer lending and corporate accounting. He is currently the Assistant Vice President / Controller for a local bank. Wayne has also taught courses in business, economics, banking, strategy, and finance as an adjunct professor with his alma mater, FSU, and with the West Virginia School of Banking. He also holds a Maryland Real Estate License and is a part-time Real Estate Agent. An active member of the community, he has served in leadership roles with many non-profit organizations. Wayne lives in his hometown of Hancock with his wife, Janine, and daughter, Lillie.
Bill McIntire is a lifelong registered Republican and a member of the Washington County Republican Club. He was born and raised in Hagerstown and graduated from Clear Spring High School in 1984, where he played varsity basketball and baseball. He studied Mechanical Engineering at Hagerstown Junior College and is a 2020 graduate of Leadership of Washington County, Class #33.
Bill is the owner of McIntire HVAC since 2010. He is also a current board member of The ARC of Washington County. Previously he was Head Coach at Clear Spring High School girls varsity basketball 2011-2015 and Assistant Coach at Clear Spring High School varsity softball 2012-2015.
Bill is still active in men’s fast pitch softball for the All Season Patriots in Allentown, PA. He has played for various teams through the years locally as well as teams from Baltimore, Harrisburg, Boston, and South Carolina. He was a member of the ASA national championship team with All Season Patriots in 2020.
Seth Wilson is lifelong resident of Washington County and has been a registered Republican here since he was old enough to vote. In college, he was a member of the Vanderbilt College Republicans, one of the largest CR organizations in the United States. After graduation, he organized a Western Maryland chapter of the Maryland Federation of Young Republicans and joined the Washington County Republican Club, eventually serving in the offices of Treasurer and Vice-President.
He has previously campaigned to be elected as a Member of the Republican Central Committee and to be the Republican nominee for the offices of Delegate to the Maryland General Assembly and Representative to Congress. He has also volunteered on the campaigns of several other Republican candidates.
Seth was appointed to the Washington County Republican Central Committee in 2013 and was re-elected in 2014 and 2018. He has served as First Vice-Chair from 2014 until 2021 when he was elected as Chair. Seth stepped down as Chair in April 2022 to run for Delegate District 2A. He has also been a member of the Frederick County Republican Club and South Carroll Republican Club.
Seth has over twenty years of professional experience in the field of information technology and works as an independent technology consultant specializing in information security. He holds a B.S. in Economics and Physics from Vanderbilt University, an M.S. in Cybersecurity from Hood College, and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Hood College. He previously completed coursework in the M.S. in Biomedical Science program at Hood College as well. His professional credentials include the Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)2. Seth is also a Maryland-certified Emergency Medical Technician and a graduate of the Leadership Frederick County program, Class of 2016.
Seth is a member of the Volunteer Fire Company of Halfway, MD, where he volunteers as a Firefighter and EMT-B. He is also a member of the Frederick County Beekeeping Association and an affiliated member of the Landlord and Property Owners Association of Western Maryland. Seth is a science and technology enthusiast whose interests also include entrepreneurship; investing; lifelong learning; health and fitness; and hiking on the Appalachian Trail and other locations in and around Washington County.
